The beach area offers access to fishing, a public beach, and playground. Bring the whole family for a memorable weekend getaway in nature’s backyard.
- Thompson Pond Nature Preserve – Take an easy hike around Thompson Pond, about 3 miles.
- Stissing Mountain – This is a more vigorous hike, but the view from the Fire Tower will absolutely amaze you!

With many athletes competing, volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of elements on race weekend including set-up, registration, water stations, and finish line.
